For fifty years, a troupe of antique marionettes was confined to a dusty closet at Jan Hus Church, in the heart of New York's Czechoslovak neighborhood.  Discovered by Vít Ho?ejš, Czechoslovak storyteller, author, and puppeteer, the 24-inch century-old masterpieces of Czech puppet makers of the old, have since brought joy to thousands of spectators young and old on tours to 25 continental states, France, Hong Kong, Singapore...   Vít Ho?ejš and his marionettes tell favorite Czech stories he learned in his home town, Prague, from his father and grandmother: "Salt over Gold"  (A Princess who values her father "only" as much as salt, is banished, but returns to save her father when salt disappears), "The Stingy Tailor"  (A proud and stingy tailor is taught a lesson by the water spirit "Vodník") and "Kacha and the Devil"  (A shepherd outwits the devil who is pursued by a dance-loving shrew).

Visit Ms. Greyson Bunny's Meadow.  She, Little Ted Hedgehog, and all of their friends are on the adventure of The Lost Thimble.  Where did it come from, who made it? There's magic about the meadow and it causes mysterious music and mis happenings.  This is a fun story for children 3 to 7 with sing a-long music. As the adventure unfolds our woodland friends also start to plant the seeds of good environmental behavior.

Rudyard Kipling spent many years living in and writing about the African continent.  He wrote for both adults and children.  Like his most popular work, The Jungle Book, his Just So Stories were created for the enjoyment of young people.  Most of them are about the animal kingdom. They are fanciful tales about the way certain things came to be.  For example, they include: How the Elephant got its Trunk; How the Leopard got its Spots; How the Camel got its Hump; and How the Alphabet was Created.

A wonderful re-telling of "Aladdin and the Magic Lamp" except this time Mr. Punch plays the lead role with split your side comic results. Loosely based on the classic tale of Aladdin. Audiences will cheer Punch on as he struggles against the powers of the evil magician. The show includes many of the characters and routines found in Traditional Punch & Judy shows.

This show was funded in part by a grant from the Puppeteers of America Endowment Fund and was awarded an UNIMA Citation of Excellence in 2005.
